Lana has been a practicing speech-language pathologist for over 20 years and has worked in a variety of home, clinical, and educational settings. Lana has extensive experience working with a wide range of ages and delays/disorders. She has specialized training and experience with infant feeding, Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, TalkTools (Oral Placement Therapy & sensory-motor approach to speech and feeding), PROMPT, Kauffman approach to Apraxia, Floortime/DIR model, Tethered Oral Tissues (tongue/lip tie diagnosis and treatment), Lindamood-Bell Programs (LIPS, Visualizing & Verbalizing, etc.), Alternative-Augmentative Communication, and many more. Lana provides Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, is an active member of the International Association of Orofacial Myology. Lana specializes in infant feeding and is passionate about optimizing oral function as early as possible to set children and their families up for success throughout the lifespan. Lana is a certified TummyTime!™ Method instructor. Lana is also an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant). She has training and provides reading intervention using research based techniques and programs. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Pace University (New York, NY) and her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Long Island University (Brooklyn, NY). She has worked in New York, California, and Nevada. She is a certified member of ASHA, recipient of the Award for Continuing Education (ACE), and is currently licensed in the states of Nevada and California. Lana is dedicated to empowering and educating parents to maximize the child's progress and success. In her free time, she is probably out on her next hiking adventure with her two children.

Ashley received her Bachelor’s of Science in Speech Pathology at the University of Nevada, Reno in May of 2016 and received her Master’s of Science in Speech Language and Learning at Northwestern University in 2018. In Arizona, she has worked in schools and in a pediatric private practice clinic. As a Las Vegas native, she was eager to move back to her hometown, and found a home with the TickTalk Therapy team. She has worked with a variety of different populations and disorders such as receptive and expressive language disorders, phonological disorders, fluency disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, autism spectrum disorders, social communication disorders, intellectual disabilities, dysphagia and feeding difficulties. She thoroughly enjoys working with the pediatric population. She strongly believes that having joy in providing therapy makes for a positive experience for both the parents and the child. Following her undergraduate, she set her sights on becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist and has not looked back since. Melissa received her Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2023 from The University of Utah, in Salt Lake City.
Melissa enjoys working with clients across the lifespan. She is passionate about providing individualized client care and looks forward to helping meet the speech, language, and swallowing needs of each child. She focused on expanding her knowledge of speech-language, feeding, and orofacial myofunctional therapy.

She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is an active member of ASHA’s leadership mentor programs. She has served in many clinical settings, including hospitals, SNFs, home health and clinics. She has an interest in research which has focused on swallowing, voice, motor speech, and cognitive disorders. Her studies have included innovative AI-Powered Software powered through speech training applications, Alternative-Augmentative Communication, and treatment methods for biofeedback therapy with swallowing and voice disorders. Her experience includes early interventions for deaf or hard-of-hearing (D/HH) with American Sign Language (ASL), Signing Exact English (SEE), Cued Speech, bone-anchored hearing aids (BAHA), and cochlear implants (CI). Tenaya received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nevada State University. He moved to Henderson, Nevada to pursue his career as a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Clark County School District and in private practice. His clinical interests and experience include articulation, phonological processing, receptive/expressive language, AAC, functional communication, voice, pragmatics, and autism spectrum disorders. He is dedicated to continuing to expand his knowledge in pediatric feeding and oral function. Taylar earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in American Sign Language studies in 2018, then went on to earn her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy in 2023. She has always loved working with children and has experience with a wide range of ages and diagnoses/disorders. She has a passion for working with infants and supporting their development. Her favorite part about pediatrics is seeing children grow and learn new skills. Her brother has a rare chromosomal disorder and has given her so much joy. Working with him and his therapists has provided her with invaluable insight into the world of therapy and the impact of including families.
