Speech-Language Pathologist

 Melissa was born and raised in the Las Vegas area before relocating to Boise, Idaho to complete her undergraduate in Biology, from The College of Idaho, in 2019. Following her undergraduate, she set her sights on becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist and has not looked back since. Melissa received her Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2023 from The University of Utah, in Salt Lake City.
Melissa enjoys working with clients across the lifespan. She is passionate about providing individualized client care and looks forward to helping meet the speech, language, and swallowing needs of each child. She focused on expanding her knowledge of speech-language, feeding, and orofacial myofunctional therapy.
Melissa has a long list of hobbies and interests including reading, skiing, hiking, playing tennis, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and shopping at Trader Joe’s. 

 Speech-Language Pathologist

 Makayla was born and raised in California and earned her degrees from Baylor University, a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in May 2022, followed by a Master of Science in May 2024. She relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada to begin her career as a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist with the Clark County School District. Her clinical interests and areas of experience include articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, functional communication, and pragmatics. She is passionate about ongoing professional development, with particular interest in feeding and oral motor function. Makayla enjoys baking, spending time outdoors, reading, and giving back to her community in her free time. She is driven by her commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of the children and families she serves. 

 Speech-Language Pathologist

 Amber brings a decade of diverse experience as a speech-language pathologist, having worked with individuals in medical and school settings across the United States and the U.S. Virgin Islands. She specializes in supporting those with complex communication needs, leveraging her extensive knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and Assistive Technology. As a virtual clinician, Amber is dedicated to delivering impactful therapy by collaborating closely with caregivers and family members within the client's natural environment. Now based in Northern Nevada, she is passionate about making a difference in the lives of her clients. When she's not working, you can find her enjoying the outdoors, spending time with friends or paddleboarding. 

 Speech-Language Pathologist

 Jessica has been a practicing speech-language pathologist for over decade, serving children in schools, clinics, and via teletherapy across the country. Jessica graduated with her B.A. in speech pathology and audiology from Calvin University in Michigan. She continued her career training at Vanderbilt University where she received her M.S. in addition to specialized training in language and literacy. As a clinician, Jessica has specialized in treatment of children with complex communication needs and has provided training for other clinicians and families in the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Jessica loves the pediatric population and has provided articulation, language, fluency, and reading intervention for children of all ages. While serving children via teletherapy, Jessica attended Texas Christian University and graduated with a Ph.D. in Health Sciences. Most recently, Jessica completed a postdoctoral research fellowship, funded by the National Institutes of Health, at Boys Town National Research Hospital. Jessica’s research focuses on the effects of movement on language learning and executive function in children with special needs. When she isn’t busy with research and practice, Jessica can be found traveling the world, attending a dance class, or just at home with her cat Trina. 

Receptionist/Office Assistant

Eva moved to Las Vegas from southern CA in 2003. She joined our team with over 25 years experience in customer service. Eva has worked in other healthcare settings. Eva has as always loved working with children in all aspects was happy to bring her passion for children and patient care to our clinic. She hopes to continue her college education and obtain her bachelors degree in childhood development. Eva enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter watching the Golden Knights and UNLV football. 

Billing Assistant

 Amy was born and raised in Las Vegas.  She moved to Alaska after high school. This is where she discovered her true love for the outdoors and nature. She retuned back to Las Vegas to be near family and began working in the hospitality industry and spent her career building her customer service skills.

She always wanted to work healthcare. In 2021 she decided it was time to make the career change and enrolled and completed a medical billing/ coding course.  She has two grandsons that she loves discovering new things and new places.
