Feeding therapy helps children and families navigate the challenges of feeding disorders, including picky eaters, sensory and behavioral feeding disorders, breast and bottle feeding difficulties, difficulties due to tongue/lip ties, neuromuscular disorders affecting feeding and swallowing, feeding difficulties due to cleft lip/palate, transitioning to solid foods, and transitioning from tube to oral feeding.
Occupational therapy helps children improve or learn motor skills, sensory processing and integration, attention, self help skills, overall development and interaction, play skills, handwriting, hand-eye coordination, balance, behavioral disorders, use of adaptive equipment, feeding and sensory based feeding disorders.
Our infant team is specially trained to work with babies from birth to help with breast and bottle feeding, optimal oral function, tethered oral tissues pre and post treatment, compensatory body tension patterns, treatment of torticollis, reflex development and integration, motor skills and coordination, sensory regulation, and transition to solid foods. We are running 8 week groups Jan/Feb, Mar/Apr, Summer, and Oct/Nov. Sign up for one or all.
We offer small groups focusing on social interaction, communication, and sensory play. Group therapy can help develop communication, sharing, turn-taking, initiating with others, and ability to imitate and learn from peers.
