Lana has been a practicing speech-language pathologist for 19 years and has worked in a variety of home, clinical, and educational settings.  Lana has extensive experience working with a wide range of ages and delays/disorders.  She has specialized training and experience with infant feeding, Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, TalkTools (sensory-motor approach to speech and feeding), PROMPT, Kauffman approach to Apraxia, Floortime/DIR model, Tethered Oral Tissues (tongue/lip tie diagnosis and treatment), Lindamood-Bell Programs (LIPS, Visualizing & Verbalizing, etc.), Alternative-Augmentative Communication, and many more.  Lana provides Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, is an active member of the International Association of Orofacial Myology, and is currently on track to certification. Lana specializes in infant feeding and is passionate about optimizing oral function as early as possible to set children and their families up for success throughout the lifespan.  Lana is a  certified TummyTime!™ Method instructor. Lana is also an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant). She has training and provides reading intervention using research based techniques and programs.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Pace University (New York, NY) and her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Long Island University (Brooklyn, NY).  She has worked in New York, California, and Nevada.  She is a certified member of ASHA, recipient of the Award for Continuing Education (ACE), and is currently licensed in the states of Nevada and California. She has had the opportunity to gain diagnostic and treatment experience with a variety of populations and disorders including receptive and expressive language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, fluency disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and feeding disorders. She also gained experience in a variety of settings including schools and ABA clinic.  Cara graduated Suma Cum Laude with a B.A. in Speech Pathology in 2014 from Nevada State College, and earned her M.S in Communicative Sciences and Disorders in 2020 from New York University. During her time at NYU, Cara was an active member of Speech@NYU's Student Ambassador program where she helped author a poster presentation for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) under the topic area of Leadership and Professional Issues. She also spent time volunteering in Belize with Therapy Abroad providing speech and language therapy services to speakers of English as a second language. This experience expanded her understanding of multicultural issues for children with special needs and their families. Her graduate experience included working across the lifespan in a variety of settings with diverse backgrounds. Cara is excited to be working in the pediatric clinical setting focusing on speech sound disorders, receptive/expressive disorders, and feeding disorders with varying diagnoses. She also completed her clinical fellowship at TickTalk Therapy and decided to stay and become part of our team. She continues to  expand her knowledge feeding disorders and treatment through continuing education. Cara is an Arizona native but has been living in Las Vegas for the last 12 years. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, cooking, watching Netflix, and gardening.

  Jessica received her Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She received specialized training in language and literacy as well as completed research on a variety of topics including stuttering, figurative language, social language, and equine-assisted therapy.  During her career as a speech-language pathologist, she has worked in a variety of settings, including schools (preschool through high school), private clinics, nursing and rehabilitation centers, and telehealth.  Ashley received her Bachelor’s of Science in Speech Pathology at the University of Nevada, Reno in May of 2016 and received her Master’s of Science in Speech Language and Learning at Northwestern University in 2018. In Arizona, she has worked in schools and in a pediatric private practice clinic. As a Las Vegas native, she was eager to move back to her hometown, and found a home with the TickTalk Therapy team. She has worked with a variety of different populations and disorders such as receptive and expressive language disorders, phonological disorders, fluency disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, autism spectrum disorders, social communication disorders, intellectual disabilities, dysphagia and feeding difficulties. She thoroughly enjoys working with the pediatric population. She strongly believes that having joy in providing therapy makes for a positive experience for both the parents and the child. She is thrilled to be a part of the TickTalk Therapy team and be able to continue to help children and their families in this setting.
