TickTalk Therapy is a multi-disciplinary pediatric practice founded in 2011 by Lana Fedyushkina, CCC/SLP, IBCLC and is dedicated to providing family centered and individualized therapy services and a wide range of groups to facilitate development and growth. We offer pediatric speech therapy, feeding therapy, and occupational therapy. We strongly focus on parent/caregiver involvement and education; evidence-based techniques; collaboration with families and other professionals; individualized treatment plans designed for each child's specific needs. Our highly skilled group of therapists is trained to help children from birth to 21 years of age in all areas of need, working as a team to maximize your child's success. We also offer orofacial myofunctional therapy, enrichment classes and groups, and numerous infant services, including Tummy Time Method, infant massage classes, and lactation counseling & support. We empower parents and caregivers through virtual and in person education opportunities and classes.

Speech therapy helps children understand and develop language skills, improve speech production and intelligibility, and develop play and social skills. Speech therapists work on improving communication for children with a variety of needs and disorders, including but not limited to: apraxia, autism, fluency/stuttering, cleft lip/palate, voice, augmentative and alternative communication devices, syndromes and genetic disorders, neuromuscular disorders, developmental delays and disorders, language and auditory processing disorders, and speech production disorders related to tethered oral tissues and oral motor dysfunction.
Feeding therapy helps children and families navigate the challenges of feeding disorders, including picky eaters, sensory and behavioral feeding disorders, breast and bottle feeding difficulties, difficulties due to tongue/lip ties, neuromuscular disorders affecting feeding and swallowing, feeding difficulties due to cleft lip/palate, transitioning to solid foods, and transitioning from tube to oral feeding.
Occupational therapy helps children improve or learn motor skills, sensory processing and integration, attention, self help skills, overall development and interaction, play skills, handwriting, hand-eye coordination, balance, behavioral disorders, use of adaptive equipment, feeding and sensory based feeding disorders.
Our infant team is specially trained to work with babies from birth to help with breast and bottle feeding, optimal oral function, tethered oral tissues pre and post treatment, compensatory body tension patterns, treatment of torticollis, reflex development and integration, motor skills and coordination, sensory regulation, and transition to solid foods. We offer feeding and occupational therapy for infants from birth. We offer lactation education and support, within individual sessions and group instruction. We also provide Tummy Time Method classes and infant massage classes for parents and caregivers.
Orofacial myofunctional therapy is focused on treatment of non-nutritive sucking habits, other detrimental orofacial habits, abnormal orofacial rest posture, neuromuscular muscle patterns associated with abnormal mastication, bolus, formation, and deglutition, abnormal swallowing patterns, tongue thrust, disordered speech patterns, and abnormal functional breathing patterns. Myofunctional disorders can contribute to malocclusion, orthodontic relapse, temporomandibular joint disorders, periodontal disorders, abnormal craniofacial development and jaw growth, mouth breathing and related negative effects, teeth grinding and clenching, and associated chronic tension and pain. We offer small group art classes for children of all ages and abilities. Art can help your child develop fine motor skills, strengthen neural connections, improve language, improve attention and behavior, divergent thinking and creativity, and facilitate mindfulness and reflection. Art can also improve emotional regulation and foster social emotional development.
We provide comprehensive reading assessments and intervention in our clinic. Treatment is available in individual and small group sessions. We utilize evidence-based programs and techniques, develop individualized plans, and focus on promoting skills and confidence for each child.
We provide handwriting group led by our skilled occupational therapists to help improve grasp, fine motor skills, sensory integration, hand eye coordination, and other skills to help your child improve this essential area of development.
We offer small groups focusing on social interaction, communication, and sensory play. Group therapy can help develop communication, sharing, turn-taking, initiating with others, and ability to imitate and learn from peers. Group interaction aids in development of social emotional skills, builds confidence, and fosters relationship building.
Evidence based program developed to support infants and caregivers, focused on early infant development, movement, regulation, play, connection & relationship. Join us for this series of 3 classes, and learn to love tummy time with your baby. Taught by our infant feeding specialist and certified TummyTime!™ Method instructor.
Learn how to massage your baby from a Certified Infant Massage Instructor. Benefits include relaxation, reduced stress, pain relief, improved sleep, improved growth, interaction and connection with you and your baby, bonding and communication, reduction in gastrointestinal symptoms and colic, and stimulation of all body systems and nervous system. This group class is taught over several weeks and will give you the tools to implement the benefits of infant massage at home with your baby daily.
